Whole of Sport policies

Whole of Sport policies are those which are mandated for use by sports funded by the Australian Federal Government and also other policies which are appropriate for adoption by the whole of the sport for reasons of good governance. 

The following Whole of Sport policies have been collectively adopted by MPA and the State Associations:

  • Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy  
  • Member Protection Policy 
  • Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy  
  • Competition Manipulation and Sports Gambling Policy

 National Integrity Framework policies 

Sports are deeply ingrained in the Australian way of life, uniting individuals across diverse backgrounds, languages, abilities, cultures, and beliefs. Beyond fostering inclusivity, sports offer a myriad of physical, social, and economic advantages. Ensuring the safety and fairness of our sport, both as a competitive sport and recreational activity, is paramount for all participants.
